Another of Jordan’s to showcase. Somewhat dated now but still a useful “brochure” site that doesn’t really need much updating. A non-profit charity site, this illustrates Jordan’s varied background and the wide experience she bring to her translating and language roles.

  • Host using high performance solid state storage. The latest cloud server technology means that performance is optimised even though demand can vary.
  • Monitor the site - I guarantee 99% uptime (my cloud provider guarantees 99.9% but I need to allow for some maintenance*) keep a watching brief for any urgent security updates and apply these ad hoc

Every Month

  • Check for web site traffic metrics and email a weekly report. Any issues that may surface are researched and fixed as necessary

  • Update to current software versions and test (restore backup and fix if any problems)
  • Measure and optimise site performance.
