Stefan Ganther – Heritage Buildings Consultant

For me, a foray into a new sector, but the principles remained the same. I interviewed Stefan over the phone and via email to establish his hopes for the site and get some ideas of other sites that have inspired him. The initial process of designing his website produced some ideas based upon those inspirational sites but ultimately yielded a unique beautiful site with some innovative animation of text and images.   • Host using high performance solid state storage. The latest cloud server technology means that performance is optimised even though demand can vary.
  • Monitor the site - I guarantee 99% uptime (my cloud provider guarantees 99.9% but I need to allow for some maintenance*) keep a watching brief for any urgent security updates and apply these ad hoc

Every Month

  • Update to current software versions and test (restore backup and fix if any problems)
  • Measure and optimise site performance.
